north.montrose@yahoo.com It was recently announced that the Allen House apartments that line Allen Parkway and W. Dallas streets will be demolished to make way for a new urban mixed use center which will include new apartments, condos, office space, and retail.  NMCA is excited about this project, but is actively working with the developer to engage the community on the plans and address concerns as they relate to the project.  These concerns include neighborhood ingress/egress issues, traffic mitigation, streetscape and pedestrian friendly access. The project will be called Regent Square NMCA hosted the first in a series of meetings the developer, GID, will hold with the community concerning this project.  In order to better expedite getting specific questions to the developer and planners, NMCA  has created a posting board for which you can post questions and we will forward those to the developer for response. As noted at the March NMCA meeting, they are very much in the design phase and so while some of  your questions might not have an answer at this moment, they will eventually be addressed.  NMCA will also retain a master log of all questions submitted to the developer.
